As you'll see, ports don't line up with the holes in the case, and there's an odd lip all around the perimeter that just makes it awkward to hold. Apple releases Smart Case for new iPad

Apple has announced the new Smart Case accessory for the new iPad. The Smart Case is similar to the Smart Cover that's been available since the iPad 2 shipped, but it protects both the front and back of the new iPad shell. It's available in six colors, and can even be personalized with free laser engraving, a first for an Apple accessory. The Smart Case also features the familiar tri-fold design that the Smart Cover has, allowing you to comfortably use the iPad to type and watch media. Bowden + Sheffield Minimalist iPad cases are beautifully functional

We know that it's hard to find variety when looking for a great iPad case. Our main problem with the cases is that we want something that adds a level of form and function while also offering protection, but we don't want something that hard to take the iPad out of, because we don't want to use an iPad that's stuck in a bulky case. Up until now, there's been no way for us to have our cake and eat it too, but that's set to change with the success of the Bowden + Sheffield Minimalist iPad Cases Kickstarter project. While the project wraps up in 16 more hours as of this writing, it's surpassed its $20,000 goal. What makes this case so good? Well, for starters, both cases look fantastic. The case designs are similar, with the difference lying in the materials.

The JAMBOX is a wireless Bluetooth speaker that you can use with smartphones, tablets, and anything else that can stream audio or phone calls over Bluetooth. It also has an aux in, so that you can use it with non-Bluetooth devices as well. It's light and portable too! Take a look in this episode. Bowers and Wilkins is set to release a cheaper version of its P5 headphones this June, and they look great. The Bowers and Wilkins P3 are the first on-ear headphones from the company that are meant for mainstream buyers, and they're priced at $200. They're foldable for easy storage and come with two different cables, one of which includes volume and talk controls for your smartphone. The P3 headphones will be available in both black and white colors.

Sony SmartWatch is a Bluetooth companion for your Android smartphone

Since we’re on the topic of watches today, let's talk about the Sony SmartWatch. Powered by Android, the Sony SmartWatch does more than just tell time. The SmartWatch features a 1.3-inch OLED 128 x 128 display, and is 0.3-inches thin. The SmartWatch will allow users to connect the watch to Android devices, thereby allowing them to read texts, tweets, and also use various apps and widgets found on Google Play. The battery life is somewhere around the three to four day mark (depending on use) and has a standby lifespan of 14 days per charge. The SmartWatch features interchangeable straps, so you can color coordinate it to your liking. Expect to pay $150 USD for this one.

Western Digital My Passport 2TB vs. MyBook 1TB

This is a good look at how far companies like Western Digital have come in the storage game. The small, black device is a new 2TB My Passport portable hard drive. The larger silver device behind it is a 1TB MyBook that's probably about 4-years old. Yep, the new My Passport is probably 90% smaller than the older MyBook, and holds twice as much data.

The Apple Smart Cover is a convenient way to protect the display of your iPad, and can also double as a simple stand. However, there are times where you'd prefer to have something a little more sturdy, and a little more elegant, and that's where something like the Ten One Design Magnus Magnetic Stand for iPad comes in. The Magnus is a magnetic stand that works with the new iPad, as well as with the iPad 2, and even the original. I was able to get my hands on one and have been testing it for a bit.
