Tiger OS X BitTorrent As you can imagine, Apple isn’t too happy about the fact that their latest OS X update, Tiger, is making the rounds on the Internet via BitTorrent. In fact, Apple has had their lawyers send cease and desist letters to a few known torrent distribution sites linking to the 8A428 Tiger release.

“Apple also demands all information related to the identity of the persons who created such torrent files and/or who uploaded the software referenced by those torrent files, as well as the identities of all individuals who participated in the uploading and downloading of Apple’s software.”

Apple says they will not support these illegally obtained versions of the Tiger software - nor will they support those versions that were accidentally shipped out a week early from resellers. My question is, how will they know which version you are using since they don’t have any sort of activation protection?

Anemone ClockAnother strange twist on the everyday alarm clock has emerged. This time it comes in the form of a rumbling sea anemone shaped device. Similar to the Clocky which rolls away when it goes off, Aaron Tang’s Sea Anemone clock does the same. The difference here is that the Sea Anemone clock rumbles much like that of a child’s toy. Due to its shape, it moves in random directions which means you must chase it down to turn it off. Once you find it, the device continues to rumble until you find the hidden button to turn it off.

DescriptionSony’s recent announcement of their new MMORPG Auction site seems to have upset another MMORPG maker, Mythic Entertainment.  Mythic Entertainment is the creator of Dark Age of Camelot MMORPG.  Mythic’s CEO Mark Jacobs had this to say about the decision, “I’m disappointed with the decision from a leader in the MMO industry to go down a path which in the past, has been an anathema to them and remains so to just about every other MMORPG company in the industry. I think that not only supporting the sale of in-game characters, items and currency, but also taking a ‘cut’ of those sales, is not only a mistake but one of the worst decisions in the history of the MMORPG industry.”  Jacobs also goes into discussion about how if you were to buy an item on StationExchange and Sony had to delete that item from the game, users would be pretty upset.

Description Sony has announced a new site for Everquest II fans/players.  Station Exchange is now the official online auction site for Everquest.  The benefit for users using this service is that when an item or character/account is in an auction it is removed from the game until the item is sold.  So no more worries about bidding on your High-Level Elvan Mage with the possibility of losing it once you win the auction. This is a great thing for EverQuest II players the world over.

Xbox WrestleMania 21 ImpressionsSo we got our hands on a copy of WrestleMania 21 for the Xbox yesterday. I must say, Studio Gigante did seem to get most of the major things right, but they skimped out on a lot of the minor details that make a great wrestling game. I have a few pros and cons on WrestleMania 21 after the jump.
