iPod My Baby Alijah

So, at the beginning of August we came across a service/internet store called iPod My Baby. After talking about it, I said to myself “Hey, I have a baby - why not iPod him?” After waiting three times longer than the site said it should take for shipping, the package finally arrived, and the results are oh-so-cute, as you can see. Of course, Alijah is known as the gadget baby - it took a combination of a cell phone and iPod to get him to crawl, and a Nintendo DS to get him to say his first word - that being “Apple”, the name of my Golden Retriever pup in Nintendogs. Jump down for a couple more images. Oh, and if you have images of your baby in one of these, please send them in. We would love to post more.

Biometric Fingerprint WatchWhile the term biometric might not quite apply the fingerprint watch by Piaget has a certain geeky luxury to it. The Fingerprint watch is a unique creation - you order the watch and the company will make it custom designed for you based on a copy of your fingerprint. The fingerprint motif will be rendered in diamonds and white gold. Obviously such a personal treatment comes with a high price (so high they don’t list it on their website), but for the truly unique timepiece some might just find it worth the cash.

Fossil SPOT Watch DiscontinuedLooks like Fossil’s line of PDA watches are going the way of the Tapwave.  After several years of delays, underexposure, and just plain having a product that nobody wanted, “reliable sources” have told BargainPDA that Fossil is exiting the wrist-born PDA market.  The Fossil watches came in several different wristband styles and featured either the Palm OS with 8MB of memory or a version of MSN Direct.  While the idea of a wristwatch connected to organizational info may hold some promise, Fossil consistently struggled with the actual execution of the product and price-point.  So, for those of you actually wearing one of these things, the unimaginable just happened – it just became even lamer.

Nike Timing Cuff SweatbandsOkay, check it. This is the coolest way to display your tech while on a jog, playing hoops, and just chilling out - it looks much better than trying to sport the corded mess that is theiPod shuffle. The Nike Timing Cuffs have a built-in time/date display, and each purchase comes with 3 interchangeable cuffs. What’s cool is that they are machine washable, and thusly, water-resistant. Too bad I don’t do anything but sit around the house all day, otherwise I would be rocking these on the tennis court

iPod My Baby“iPod” and “baby” are two words usually used in this form, “My baby threw my iPod in the toilet,” or some variation of that.  However, this clothing company is planning on changing that image.  In an attempt to “iPodify” your baby, you can get these cute - and strange - onesies in 3 colors and 3 sizes. Now if only the click-wheel would pause crying until you get the bottle - that would be a great baby mod.
