Purse OrganizerIf you’re a woman with a thing for gadgets (raising hand), your handbag can get a little, well, cluttered. Our , cell phone, PSP or DS and our beloved-but-defunct Tapwave Zodiac have all fought for space amongst all the other stuff in our bag (make-up, magazines, wallet, etc.). Help has arrived with the Purse Organizer, which, when expanded, surrounds the perimeter of your handbag, and holds your gadgetry (or whatever) in six different pockets in a variety of sizes. Changing bags? Just roll up the Purse Organizer and it’s good to go. Available for $15 USD.

Goo Goo Onesie
So we’ve already told you about iPod My Baby, cute tees and onesies that make your infant resemble a cute, giant iPod. Awww. Now comes Goo Goo, the aptly-named onesie for /internet/tech fanatics who love the world’s most ubiquitous search engine. Very cute (we especially love the “I’m Feeling Silly” button), we just hope your bundle of joy isn’t labeled a “geek” by the ruffian infants at Mommy and Me class.

iPod SuitIf you’re a regular Gear Live reader, you may remember our articles on -ready clothing from Tunebuckle and iWear. Now, popular British retailer Marks and Spencer is planning to introduce a wool and Lycra-blend suit with a lapel that has buttons to control your iPod, which is concealed within the suit. The tricky part is that to see what’s playing or to change playlists, you’ll have to manually disconnect the iPod. The James Bond-esque, black pinstripe suit will sell for approximately $178 USD. Want the matching pants? They’ll run you an additional $117 USD.

Wear Your Seat

IDSland’s Wear Your Seat is a curious little combination of cushion and clothing. So far only a prototype, you carry it like a backpack and then recline with it when you get to wherever you are going. Designed by France’s Olivier Peyricot, it adapts to each part of the wearer’s back and adjusts accordingly. Although it wouldn’t fit into most stadium seats, we can envision its use during a hockey game, where you not only freeze, but can never get used to the hardness of those wooden benches.

Smart Alec & Accessories

Quality and Convenience. These are the words that immediately come to mind about Tom Bihn’s Smart Alec laptop backpack and accessories. Available in 4 color combinations, this bag is as stylish as it is functional. But let’s start with Quality. The large, roomy (18.5” x 11.75” x 7.75”), Smart Alec is made of 1050 denier Ballistic and 1000 denier Cordura nylons, and is lined with 500 denier Dupont Cordura nylon. Translation? This bag is strong, and seemingly indestructible, exemplified by their lifetime guarantee. Plus, both the back of the backpack and the straps are heavily padded. My first time out with Alec, I was carrying at least 10 pounds of laptop and other stuff—and yet Alec was surprising comfortable on my back. If you plan on using the Smart Alec as a laptop bag, I highly recommend the Brain Cell, a soft, lightweight but tough-as-nails shell for your computer, with 8mm of durable foam padding. The Brain Cell (which, with its two mesh pockets and shoulder strap attachments can itself be used as a laptop bag) is of the highest quality and durability. The Brain Cell even attaches to the interior of the Smart Alec with “Annex Clips”, further securing your precious PC. I actually dropped Alec twice—with my laptop inside—and wasn’t even remotely concerned about damage to my Gateway. That’s how confident I was in the Brain Cell (my laptop is just fine, by the way).

Reef SandalsWe’re not much into footwear here on Gear Live, but summer is almost upon us, and we found a pair that we’re almost agog over. Reef’s Fanning Sandals are made of water-resistent nubuck on the top and a rubber outsole. The heel features an actual airbag to keep you ID and car keys dry, provided that you don’t lose them or go lame. As if that isn’t nifty enough, you can pop open a beer with the church key cleverly implanted in the sole. The Signature sandals can be found in many e-shops for $44.95 - $49.95, so do some e-window shopping before you buy.

Tide shirts and iPod

This has to be one of the gaudiest iPods we have seen to date. Buy a Limited Edition Tide “Loads of Hope” t-shirt in blue, yellow, or black for $10.00 and you will have a chance to win a customized Tide iPod or a $50.00 gift card from the iTunes store from Proctor and Gamble. All proceeds from the sales will go to the St. Bernard Project, which is endeavoring to build 10 houses for New Orleans’ families. We realize that not everybody wants to sport a shirt that turns you into a walking billboard, but maybe you could just purchase one for your Uncle Malcolm for Father’s Day and keep the reward, should you win one, for yourself. The promotion is open until June 25.
