TrendyGeek Pod Shields For All

TrandyGeek Pod Shield GiveawayOkay guys, we know that a vast majority of our readers are iPod fanatics. It's a fact that we just can't get away from, so instead, we embrace it. We also realize that iPod owners don't like the fact that if the wind hits your MP3 player the wrong way, all of a sudden the iPod is scratched to hell. Well, the folks over at TrendyGeek didn't like it too much either. So they developed the Pod Shield. Unlike just about every other iPod case you have seen or owned, the Pod Shield is paper thin and almost invisible, while at the same time protecting your precious Apple device from scratches and scuffs. I just applied my Pod Shield to one of the Gear Live in-house iPods and am currently letting it settle. Don't let that scare you, it clings to the iPod via high static - no adhesives necessary.

TrendyGeek has sent us a bunch of Pod Shield kits to give away to our loyal readers. We have decided to give away one per day for the next few days. To win, just simply leave a comment on any one of our articles. You can leave comments on as many articles as you wish per day. Each day we will count the article comments for that day, and pick a random number within that range. The person who posted that comment on that days wins a new Pod Shield, no questions asked. Oh, and you must live in the USA to be eligible.

Ha! This is awesome! I wish I had one!

Hmm, the TypeKey thing seems to be messed up…“The site you’re trying to comment on has not signed up for this feature. Please inform the site owner.” when I try to sign in.

These look very cool and you know they are good if geeks designed them lol. Thanks for the info. And also thanks for the cool little givaway wink. Don’t know if this post will count since I can’t log in to the typekey thing but how about a bug report reward?!? heheh jk ;P.

Will be nice if this gets some more activity on the homepage smile.

strange, after I hit “post” it said “thanks for signing in” and then posted…so maybe it isn’t a bug…though when I try to use the “sign in” link it gives me that error message posted above. But it does look like it worked since I have that little icon next to my post name…user error?

Sounds pretty neat. Maybe I’ll win one….I doubt I will though. I never win anything. :-(

I got the same message as Scilynt. What’s up with that? Oh well, I have a skin made by Lajo and it works great. I’m sure these work just as good.

Looks cool.  I might get one of those.

Scilynt, I don’t think it was user error. I got the same message but no icon next to my name….The Shields look like a good concept but I wonder how much they are and if they are easy to remove(acidently).

Cool idea, beats me making my own out of LCD screen protectors.

that looks pretty sweet…wish i would’ve had that before i got my ipod..

Hmm…I’m getting this error when trying to log into typekey:

Oh well, maybe our comment’s will still count :D

I to get the same problem..i’m pretty sure everyone is getting it =( it’s a shame to….I really wanted one of these podshield for a long time.

Good luck on fixing it =)

So was I the only one to make a comment while logged into typekey? If so, does that mean I win by default heheh ;P.

Just wondering if you are going to post the people who win the iPod shields.  That would be cool.  Also, typekey doesn’t seem to be working.

That thing seems awesome. I was actully looking into buying a sheild for my ipod that i just got my 5 referrals for (thanks to this site!!!) So if u wanna hook me up, thatd be awesome, thanks a lot, peace

Any updates on this bug Andru. Seems I was the only one to be able to get it to work…and can’t seem to get it to work again since.
