TiVo HME To Add Yahoo! Services, Podcast Client, and More

Looks like TiVo is set to make another go of this whole DVR thing, as they are readying a bunch of new services that will be integrated into the TiVo HME client. I’d love to see all sort of integrated functionality from Tivo, of course I’d also like to option to log into my account at tivo.com and opt out of anything I wasn’t interested in, this way I could streamline my menus. I have no use for yahoo photos since I share it on my network and the Tivo already connects there. No use for games…I have a computer for that. In any case though it looks promising and I’d like to see how many new features we receive until they up the monthly fee.

This is pretty tight. What they really need is a non-DirecTV dual tuner TiVo. I hear there are FCC issues with that but they need to get it going…
