T-Mobile Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan is a great deal for fake 4G

T-Mobile unlimited 4g data

T-Mobile has announced that its bringing back unlimited data plans beginning September 5th. The company is touting that there will be no speed limits, throttling, or data caps for customers who subscribe to the new Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan. The cost? Users can expect to pay $20 when they add unlimited data to a Value voice and text plan, or $30 when added to a Classic plan. T-Mobile will allow users to add unlimited data to any T-Mobile smartphone, or customers can bring their own smartphone (like the iPhone?) that's compatible with T-Mobile's network.

This is definitely a bold move for the struggling mobile carrier, and it doesn't provide good value. To get unlimited text, voice, and data you'll be paying just $89.99. To get the same from Sprint (which isn't truly unlimited data,) you'd have to pay $110 per month. AT&T and Verizon don't offer any unlimited data plans, and for those who are grandfathered in on older plans, they experience throttling once they reach a certain amount of data used.

The T-Mobile Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan will be available on September 5, and will only work with smartphones, not tablets.
