RIP Microsoft FrontPage

Microsoft FrontPageIt looks like Microsoft is finally going to take their FrontPage web design software out back, and put it to pasture. According to PC World, Microsoft FrontPage sees the end of it’s life cycle with the release of Microsoft Office 2007, formerly known as Office 12. I used Microsoft FP but I mean, you don’t have any freedom with it, it’s all nonsense… I love dreamweaver, and sure if might cost a few more 100’s, but it’s all worth it, you have so much flexibility. I love the pre-layouts and he fact that no matter what you want, it’s possible with dreamweaver, I will use dreamweaver untill something better comes forward, but I really don’t think you can… UNLESS… Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, and all of the others are in one and not just seperate programs, but you can use them all together, but it’s not in one program. Dreamweaver is very hard, but once you learn it, it is simple, and reading books and e-bookson it is how I got started, it’s truly the best of WYSIWYG’s.

The latest version of Front Page is simple and works great. It does not place rubbish attributes to code anymore.

BUT- Dream Weaver is still alot better, it gives you more power than microsoft FP ever wold. Dream Weaver, is absolutely the best.
