Venus, Jupiter and Crescent Moon In Alignment Tonight
We were looking around to find you a fitting gift for today, and we found something that our readers can share and it doesn’t cost a cent. Beginning tonight, Venus, Jupiter and the crescent moon will join together. By Monday, they will be about 2º apart (about a finger’s width at arms length.) Check out the southwestern sky at twilight. You won’t even need a telescope or binoculars. Miss it and you will have to wait until Nov. 18, 2052 for the next occurrence, although Venus and the moon will pair up again New Year’s Eve.
(P.S. Happy Turkey Day!)

We have been enjoying sights of Venus and Jupiter and look forward to the Crescent Moon join them tonight! We are just north of LAX North runway and often see aircraft lights near the planets.

I am in the North NJ, USA I was coming home at 5:00pm and couldn’t take my eyes off of the moom, I was in awe at the two “stars” next to it. I pulled out my zoom lens on my camera and it was clear that it was two plants, I googled it and this came up. A gift that words cannot describe. I emailed all my friends now its cloudy, bummer!

I too was in awe from the view at 5:15 Monday night. I took great pics and emailed them to my local t.v. station for showing. I couldn’t stop looking out my sunroof at this site and then straight in front of me all the way home.

A Christmas Gift.
This planetary alignment occured one night many years ago ushering in the birth of a little baby in the town of Bethlehem. On June 11th, 2 BC at 6:15 pm Jupiter, Venus and the crescent moon appeared to join and the star shone down upon the countryside.
This is the most likely date of the birth of Jesus.

A Christmas Gift
Once upon a time, many years ago in a town called Bethlehem a child was born to Mary and Jospeh, and his name was Jesus.
On that night a ‘star’ was said to have shone bright lighting the countryside, leading many to believe a king was born in a manager. That night according to our calendar today was June 11th, in what is known to us as 2 BC. The time was 6:15 pm. At that time the planets Jupiter, and Venus appeared to merge with the crescent moon, and appear as one bright star. This alignment ushered in a sacred birth and story for the world. This Christmas of 2009, 2007 years later may this world be so blessed as to recieve ~ the miracle of love and peace birthed anew on this planet ~. xox Mary
