Papa John Makes a Million With Mobile Orders
While you can order a meal from Pizza Hut on Facebook, Papa John also seems to have the right idea. The chain announced that it has received more than a million dollars in mobile Web sales in the last six months. This equals out to over $1 billion in overall online sales. The site features their menu, special offers, locator and account registration. They also have an iPhone friendly menu. We can’t wait until the trend catches on and we can order our Moo Goo Gai Pan while on the way home.

Dominos also has had a mobile site up for a while, at mobile.dominos.com. Such cell phone ordering is pretty standard fare for a host of items in parts of Asia, such as Japan and South Korea. It’s about time the US started catching up!
