Nissan Pulls Out of NAIAS

Cobo HallIf you live in Michigan, lately it is one bad day after another. We love going to the NAIAS to see the concept cars but will probably pass on the next one. Mitsubishi (Nissan) is the latest automaker to pull out of the event. They follow on the heels of Rolls-Royce, Land Rover, Ferrari and Suzuki. This may not be the end of it as others are also thinking along the same lines, that there is just no market here. Meanwhile, the powers that be push to save the big three and plan an enlargement of Cojo Hall (where the NAIAS is held.) Think energy efficient, Detroit!
