Conficker Damage Minimal
So did you wake up and wonder if your computer had been infected? It seems that Conficker did most of its damage in Asia, and was found to be modifying itself to make it more difficult to eradicate. While the threat is still not over, the best thing to come out of the virus is that security has been beefed up to try to find it. Symantic’s Vincent Weafer said that they believe that it was designed to make money. Maybe it can find Madoff’s missing millions.

Judging by the complexity of this virus and the time it would take to create it, why rule out the possibility it’s a group of people? After all, from what I’ve seen, it’s impossible to get rid of thus far, and has infect many ‘major’ areas, such as the German Bundeswher and the UK Ministry of Defense.
If they do want to crash computers worldwide, why not do it now? 20 million would fall. Instead they’re biding their time, like they were waiting for something. Maybe they’re waiting for it to infect other Governmental computer networks? Maybe they plan to take the world in their hands by controlling all they can? Who knows? Knowing there has been Conficker.A, Conficker.B, and Conficker.C, How long until it evolves to Conficker.D? Also, A theory has popped up that the creator is possibly in Germany, since it seems to be a combination of the word CONfigure and FICKEn (or the F word in German). Hm…..
Just some theories.
