Available in the styles of Tank (that comes with an extra cable and microphone,) Matador and Chopper, the company promises DJ quality sound. Each style has variations for those who want multi-color and those who prefer basic. Compatible with iPhones, MP3 players, handhelds and cell phones, each has an adjustable headband and thick cushioned earpads. Prices vary from $49.99 to $79.99.

These look A LOT like the headphones offered by Boost Mobile called “the Grande”. The “Tank” especially. They look like a palette swap of the Boost Mobile ones. Hopefully they sound just as good seeing as they cost $10 more.

I found the sound quality of these headphones to be very disappointing (Matador). I’m surprised that they get such good reviews. The quality LOOKs good but all I got was muddy and indistinct mid-frequencies and almost no highs. If you want bass, these might be okay but they offer very little else. Having paid 50 Euros plus postage for them, I ended up giving mine away. Possible the worst headphones I’ve even owned.

Personally I do not go for bulky earphones as they take up too much space and you do not see many people wearing them, although I am aware they give better sound which is a plus.

Well, the Matador series fold up small, the ones in the picture on the right (only mine were black). They also have a microphone attached so I was intending to use them with my iPhone when commuting. I agree, though, that they are a bit on the bulky side. But the main minus is audio quality. I couldn’t believe how low-fi they sounded ...

I purchased a pair of the black tanks by AERIAL7 and they have been great. The sound quality is amazing and the muffle is perfect for the price. Its like having a portable surround sound for your music. I recommend these to everyone
