Samsung is offering some serious laptop action with the announcement of the X520 and X420.  The X520 will have a 15.6 screen, low-power consuming SU2700 CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and 320GB HDD.  The X420 will have a 14 inch screen, 1.3GHz Intel Pentium dual-core SU2700, Intel GMA X4500M graphics, 3GB of RAM, and 250GB hard drive.  These two laptops are thin, light, and claim to provide 9 hours of battery life. Pricing will be somewhere in the $1,000 price range. Expect them to arrive in Europe in mid-October.
