Cricket TXTM8 phone optimized for SMS-only
I believe that there is an entire generation that uses their mobile phone for text messages only, and it would appear that Cricket is prepared for it with the TXTM8.
The TXTM8, or text-mate, is a messaging phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. Don’t ask me where that keyboard is in this picture (we’re guessing slider,) but I’m told that it also comes with a customizable homescreen that allows users access to web content such as news and weather. Other features include a 1.3 Megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, a music player, and microSD slot.
Interested? The Cricket TXTM8 is available now for a price of $140.

My birthday was in late January. My mom bought the phone for me maybe around Febuary 2nd. In June I started having a problem with my phone. It just completely stopped comming on. It only would come on with the charger plugged in and it would stay on for less than 25 seconds! I bought a new phone that same month (the same TXTM8…they also made me buy a whole new battery just to tell me that it wasn’t my battery that was messed up but my phone and wouldn’t let me get a refund for it!) and now my phone is doing the same exact thing! I HATE CRICKET NOW! I wanna give them a chance and this time just go and buy a different from from the TXTM8. Maybe it’s just the TXTM8 that’s messed up….I just think it’s crazy that I have to buy 3 phones from the same company in 1 year.

That was great idea. Picture messaging should work on the phone as long as you have picture messaging on your plan. Mine was working fine on mine until I called to have roaming added to the phone. Thank you.
