Spykee Plays While You Are Away
Meccano has come up with a new bot, known as Spykee. He can be controlled either by Wi-Fi or the internet when you are away and can be built into any of three models. He features a microphone, loudspeaker, 2 motors, motion sensors, and a cam, so that when you are away, he can send you pictures of neighborhood intruders or your dog by e-mail. He can also do stairs, play MP3s, and will thoughtfully return to his recharging base when his batteries run low. Spykee loves both PCs and Macs and will even act as your VOIP phone if you have Skype 3.0. Pre-order Spykee at for £198.98 ($388.01) for delivery in early September.
