Samsung has reignited the ongoing disc conflict by offering its next generation Blu-ray BD-P2400 during the recent IFA 2007. The player features Dolby True HD and Digital Plus and a built-in HQV(Hollywood Quality Video) processor for 1080i to 1080p HD de-interlacing. It also has HDMI (version 1.3,) 7.1Ch audio out, and ethernet capability for a firmware upgrade.
