Gibson Robot Guitar, For Those of Little Talent

Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Design, Misc. Tech, Music

Gibson Guitar has finally come up with a gimmick to get those amateur musicians that cannot play past “Smoke On the Water” to attempt something more. Their Robot Guitar is self-tuning and features open tuning with 6 presets that were used on such tunes as Zeppelin’s “Going to California”, The Stones’ “Honky Tonk Women,” and Hendrix’s “Voodoo Child.” Due out December 7, the instrument will be sold with its first run in a Limited Edition. Contact Gibson for information on price and to find out exact locations of sales.
