Get Up Close and Personal with the iTheaterV

iTheaterV

If you’re serious about watching your videos—or your privacy—you’ll probably dig this gadget. It’s the iTheaterV from Japan’s Mikimoto Beans, a headset worn across the eyes that plugs into your 5G iPod (or any portable video source). The result? Experiencing your vids as if you’re sitting 8’ from a 65” display! The downside? Having no idea what’s going on in the world around you (which actually may be an upside), and looking a little too much like Star Trek’s Geordi LaForge. Anyway, the iTheaterV seems great for long flights or any situation where you don’t want to disturb anyone…or want them to know what you’re watching. The iTheaterV weighs only 2.3 ounces, and the battery lasts 4-5 hours. Available for $320 USD.
