Dell Travels to the Asian Pacific
Poor Dell. In May, they arrived at Wal-mart, and now they will be selling their wares at Asian retails outlets, although no specific names have yet to be dropped. While most of their average shipments of PCs and laptops amass to about 14%, the company claims 20% in the Asian Pacific, not counting China, Japan, and South Korea.
Paul-Henri Ferrand, who heads Dell there said, “Our business is growing even faster in some of the emerging markets like Pakistan, the Philippines and Indonesia.”
We are thinking that maybe the next place we would find them would be in one of those markdown bins in retail outlets next to the cassettes tapes of David Hasselhoff and Kevin Federline.
