Boy Receives Big Bucks Instead of Playstation
Police in Norfolk, UK were puzzled when a boy who ordered a Playstation 2 for £95 (~$195.00) from eBay received EU 65,400 (~$90,353.00) instead. They have decided to hold on to the parcel under their Proceeds of Crime Act while they investigate. eBay has promised to cooperate in finding the money’s owner. Theoretically, the child and his parents can get back the funds under the Police Property Act if nobody else claims it. If they manage to do that, they can probably buy a PS3.
