Ellen Degeneres makes fun of iPhone, Apple cries foul
Apple has taken their brand control measures to a ridiculous level this week, as they’re now even targeting major television talk shows that happen to parody their devices. So basically, super funny comedienne Ellen Degeneres played a skit showing how confusing using an iPhone could be, you know, just for laughs. Apple got wind of the situation, and someone actually reached out to the Ellen Show to let them know that they didn’t appreciate it. In the video above, Ellen apologizes, saying that she loves her iPhone, her iPad, her iPod…and even IHOP. Classic.

C’mon Mr.Macintosh, don’t be so sensitive. It’s only a joke, you guys should have confidence in your product considering everyone’s trying to copy everything you guys release. I think the whole sparring match between them Adobe and Google has them on pins and needles.

Apple is getting really scary these days. Seriously, I wonder what would have happened to her if she didn’t apologize. Apple probably has the power to destroy her. Apple’s gotten a little too big for their britches. When are people going to stop buying into this ####?

Apple is getting out of hand. Back in the late 80’s they built a campaign around being different, not “the man”. Instead they’ve turned into the dreaded beast that Microsoft was once perceived as, while Bill Gates is solving the World’s malaria problems.
What’s next, will Apple sue farmers for selling fruit? We’ll have the “fruit that shall not be named”, or the “fruit formerly known as” Since they also claim to own the word Pad, what will be call those books with paper that you write in?
Enough is enough Mr. Jobs!!!

Okay now this is ridiculous. I saw a Family Guy episode where Carter mocks Bill Gates, saying everyone has an iPod rather than the Microsoft equivalent. It was funny and I don’t recall Microsoft getting their panties in a twist over it. Apple need to relax a little bit, if their products weren’t everywhere now they wouldn’t get so much exposure.
