Speck is so excited about the Apple unveiling that they have already released two models of cases for the iPhone 3G. The ToughSkin is the cover for klutzes, made of rubber and a textured pattern to keep out bumps and bruises. It will be available in July for $34.95.

The SeeThru shells are for those who want everyone to know that they own an iPhone. The cases have rubberized side strips to save from slipping, and the bottom slides off to double as a stand. Available iSpec Cases for iPhone 3Gn several colors, it will also come out next month for $29.95.

Wow, that was fast!  I’m sure Speck was prepared to make this 3G iPhone case as soon as details about it were released in the Apple conference.  Buying a case is definitely a must for an iPhone.  You don’t want your iPhone screen to get messy or even fall down and crack.  I think the ToughSkin is better than the SeeThru skin, although they’re both made for completely different purposes.  The ToughSkin is made to protect your iPhone from damage, while the SeeThru is made to show off your iPhone in a light case.  I think these cases are both expensive though, but it’s worth investing in a good case for your iPhone.  You don’t want to break a $200 phone!
