RAPHA SurroundXi Speaker System
RAPHA has unveiled their multi-useful Speaker System. The SurroundXi will work with iPod/nanos, MP3s, MP4s, portable CD/DVD players, computers, and cellies. And if you don’t have one of those, just take your computer’s MP3 files and copy them to your USB flash key, then plug in. The speakers have Unique Weave technology that the company claims gives “brilliant crystal clear sound.” The SurroundXi is portable, comes in 6 different colors, runs on batteries (not included,) USB, or 6V adapter and carries a MSRP of $69.95.

“Brilliant, crystal clear sound” doesn’t mean it has decent bass performance. I’m all about the bass, so I’ll stick with either headphones or larger speakers.

RAPHA is not a name you normally hear, but it looks to be a very impressive product! I don’t really need decent bass performance, so I’m more focused on the crystal clear sound coming out of the speakers. I only wish they made one that had a dock for a zune…

Very cool that it can use files off of a flash drive as well as mp3 players. Instant party for those on the move.
