So, now that we’ve cleared up the iPhone 3G price confusion (we think), we are curious what you guys will be picking up once the device is unleashed. Apple has moved away from the aluminum-looking backing, instead opting for a glossy black finish on the 8GB iPhone 3G. However, if you opt for the 16GB model, you get a choice between glossy black and glossy white. What say you?

i’m definitely getting one, now that the price went down to $199 but U hear that where their going to get you at is the service plan, I think but not for sure it’s going to cost $10 extra dollars to use 3G on top of you service plan and I think the cheapest plan you can get is $30-$60 around that price range but I guess it will be worth it, I’m paying for it out of my $600 Tax bonus that I receive, can’t wait until July 11

Their is no new change if you don’t live in an area that supports 3G, as I do so I’m staying with my original and upgrading the software.

If I were to purchase a 3G iPhone I would go with the white one for sure! The iPhone just looks more sleek in a white color.

black for sure the white is crappy looking the black is glossy and smooth i have the black one i used to have a white one but it broke and i have the original 4GB iphone.

I have an iphone 3g and i am trying to restore it, it goes half way through but then it gets stuck and it shows me error (28) How do i fix this problem? So i may restore it.iPhone
