Google to Launch Chrome, an Open Source Web Browser
Google announced today that it is launching its new beta browser, named Chrome. Available in more than 100 countries supposedly tomorrow, so far it is only for those with Microsoft Windows. (The company says it is still working on the Mac and Linux versions.) Google’s official blog almost apologized for their comic that discussed the joys of their new browser, saying that they tend to “launch early and iterate” and that the mailroom was a bit hasty letting it out. Be that as it may, it took us long enough to get used to Firefox, so we think we will let the hardcores try it first.

I can’t wait. I HAS to be better than Microsoft’s Internet Explorer product which secretly installs Alexa tracking software on EVERY users computer and is so bonded and integrated into the IE browser that it CANNOT be removed, and Internet Explorer is so integrated and bonded into the Microsoft XP product that IT ALSO CANNOT BE REMOVED. Microsoft refuses to tell its customers that they use the Alexa tracker to notify MS and Alexa and each of their customers and clients—sharing personal and private and confidential browsing records and information about you from YOUR computer that YOU OWN. This is criminal in that they secretly install this software without the user’s knowledge or authorization, and use it for nefarious purposes.
Google and Firefox DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY PRIVATE INFORMATION unless their customer first consents to such by clicking an OPT IN button that clearly discloses what will happen to the information.
Microsoft and Alexa need to be indicted by a grand jury for their unfair and deceptive and fraudulent businesses practices (theft by deception, secretly installing tracing software without consent of the computer owner) and they should also have a class action lawsuit filed against them.
It is REFRESHING that Google will finally release a browser product that will protect their search and email and document collaboration customers from the Microsoft spying and tracking software. I personally cannot wait until Google releases an Operating System to compete with XP/Vista so that I can dump Microsoft completely.
Just like I plan to dump my home phone and cable internet companies when Google comes out with their GPhone/Android product which will allow both mobile phone and internet connectivity at speeds comparable to what I currently have.
In other words, I can dump Microsoft and my internet and home phone carriers and save a couple of thousand dollars a year (add up the cost of the MS XP/Vista package, plus the Office package, plus the annual cost of home phone and internet service).
With Google GPhone/Android, I can either use the phone to surf the web and make calls, or plug in my laptop and have high speed access without needing a home phone or cable, and use Google’s browser to access the internet, Gmail, and Docs sites for ONLY the cost of monthly cell phone plus data service plus the cost of the Android phone, which will be LOW once it is mass produced.
Praise Allah, Praise God, and Praise Google.
