Creative Vado Pocket Video Cam

Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Cameras, USB

VadoCreative has come up with its own version of the Flipvideo, the Vado. The basic point, press, and shoot pocket video camera can capture up to 2 hours of video with 2x digital zoom. Playback is instant on the 2-inch LCD screen and uploading on YouTube or Photobucket is available when you connect to your PC. Recharge the AA batteries via USB or change out (extras not included) for more time. The price on the Vado, which comes in silver or pink, is $99.00.

Comments:

Picture quality must be poor.Creative should only concentrate in the audio industry.

I agree, such devices don’t have much market penetration, all the features it has and more would be available in devices such as n series phones, ipod touch, etc.

Again, who is really going to pay $99 for a small video camera like that?  I am sure it is easy to use, but a video camera alone is not something people will want to take around (they already have where you can take video on cell phones)

I don’t think I agree with the overall consensus here guys. I think a devise like this would be great for someone who is a youtube movie maker. This devise was made for them.
