How about the fact that we remain professional when we DON’T upload something that someone gives us and SPECIFICALLY asks us not to upload? Seems it would be more of an amateur move to just go ahead and publish, and thusly break our word.

Hello Andru, I admite your balls for responding- I was a little harsh so I’ll explain myself better.

I’m not a huge photoshop expert, I dabble with photographs but nothing constructed.

Next, your use of the question mark fails for fill me with confidence- it’s like you’re not sure yourself? It’s certainly not for a sensationalist effect, unless all of your readers are pessimists.

Finally if this was leaked from the Microsoft marketing event- then surely there is more than a few people there who could be responsible for this leak- I fail to see how this source could be linked to the folding shot.

Anyhow even if this was an eyes-only feature of their marketing event you fail to mention the previous record of these internal sources- as established rumour sites like MacRumors do on a daily basis.

Not sure I understand what you mean by previous record of the internal sources, but these are the facts:

1) Yes, I got that specific image from two unrelated, internal Microsoft employees, who work in Xbox Studios. I live in Seattle, and if you are out here, pretty much 1/4 of the people you know work at Microsoft.

2) One of the two documents I got was VERY detailed…but they asked me not to post it. I honor that, so I didn’t. The second one I got, the image above, matched PART of the first document I got, and that is when I decided to run the story.

That being said, why is there a question mark? Because, until it’s publicly announced by Microsoft, there is no way I can say it is 100% confirmed. That would also be an amateur move. Instead, I am allowing you to judge for yourself.

Yes well a story like this is very fresh meat- anyone could make up a box art right now in an attempt to get Microsoft to unveil there plans before the PS3 launch in Europe.

I am the judge from Phoenix Wright- and in my court everyone is guilty until proven innocent.

I will require the second shot to be uploaded with any ‘sensitive’ information about the specifications blacked out.

Of course it would be childish of me to expect you to break the promise of an internal source for the sake of some arrogant gamers. We’ll agree to disagree and this story shall sink like the Dreamcast.

A black XBox 360 with 65nm, quiet DVD drive and 120gb HDD would attract my money.

I’d also like a non-silly shape so that stacking my a/v gear under or around my TV wasn’t a problem.

.....and did I mention I want my a/v gear in a nice neutral black (not this stupid silver fad or white, for God’s sakes).
