Purebrush: Antibacterial Toothbrush Purifier

DescriptionThey say that a dog’s mouth is cleaner than yours.  A subjective observation to be sure, as most humans aren’t known for licking, ummm, well, various places that we won’t go into detail on.  Regardless, the human mouth is a breeding ground for bacteria, and the lowly toothbrush is even more so.  Since a toothbrush is damp for most of it’s life, it makes a fine place for viruses and bacteria (like Strep and E-Coli) to flourish.  The Purebrush Antibacterial Toothbrush Purifier is out to change that.  Armed with an ultra-violet light, the Purebrush sanitizes up to four toothbrushes at once.  The Purebrush is different from other toothbrush sanitizers in that it will clean not only a standard toothbrush, but also the powered heads from Braun, Interplak and others.  With claims of a 99.9% effective elimination rate for viruses and bacteria, the Purebrush seems to be an ideal weapon in the war on the microscopic critters that are out to get you.

That doesnt make sense. Fluoride is a naturally antibacterial, unless you dont use toothpaste.

yeah but you rinse your brush after brushing your teeth and that’s supposed to take most of the paste off the brush.  So between the time you set it down to the time you brush again, germs and bacteria may have formed on it.  Another company called Violight has 2 similar products.  One is a travel version for those of us that live out of a suit case.

Purebrush has numerous clinical trials posted on their website however violight and other secondary products on the market have no proof that their products even work!!!

Keep in mind that viruses, yeast, mold and bacteria need 2 things to survive…
food and water!! Toothpaste, moisture, and the dark drawers or cabinets where most people store their tooth brushes are fertile breeding grounds not to mention, flushing and then brushing…. and what better injectors into our bloodstream than tooth brush bristles…. directly into our gums.
I’ll stick with PUREBRUSH! it’s clinically proven to work.
As for those small travel models… they don’t generate enough heat from their tiny uv blubs nor do they stay on long enoung to do the job!!!! Instead they’re germ incubators…. better to rinse it well and to place your tooth brush in a window outside the bathroom near sunlight !!!
