The psp is for people how like PCs, and fox, the DS is for people who like Macs and Disney, so i am going to have to go with the PSP, i have never had any problems with sony and it look awsome…

I don’t know where you’re coming up with this, if anything the PSP would be for people that like Macs, because it has style.
DS with Disney because many people consider nintendo to be “kiddy”
And Fox doesn’t really have anything to do with any of this at all.

*note I do like Nintendo, I just don’t think the DS has the power of the games that would make it worthwhile.

Comparing the DS to the PSP is the stupidest thing in the world. The DS kicks ass because of the touch screen and pictochat.  The PSP kicks ass because of nice graphics, video, and music.  DS does need more games, but that doesnt mean it sucks.  PSP has nice games right now. But With 13 bucks i could buy a regular dvd, so watching movies on ur psp isnt all that great but its still good. Music is not built in ur psp u have to buy a memory stick, and with 100 bucks i can go buy an mp3 player, but its good if u have money and buy all this. The DS wasnt meant for “home console” graphics, it was meant for those fun and relaxing games with the feature of the touch screen.  And some games set a bad example of it, like “madden 2005”. But if Nintendo can make some addictive touch screen games, and PSP can lower prices a bit more then they will both succeed very well. Theres not much to argue about here, The DS has fun addictive multiplayer games, and the PSP has amazing PS2 graphics we all dreamed about. So if u buy the PSP for 250$ or the DS for 150$, they both match their price.

can’t believe there are ppl out there(Noriko)  sayin that the graphics fer the psp suck !!! get some glasses lady . or at least read the specs fer the PSP . ridge racers on the psp and the DS can give us a good idea about how much better display on the psp(very detailed- know through experience ) is than the DS(lots of grains- checked pics on the net ) . and i think the only reason DS owners are flaming the PSP is cuz dey obviously know they bought the wrong thing fer x’mas an r just defending their PATHETIC investment .

Aw COME ON ! You think I don’t know what good gaming is ??? I mean; I live in Tokyo, Japan, the world’s gaming capital !! I don’t need glasses, I can see just fine ! And DS totally not pathetic ! You just don’t want to admit ! PSP is crap ! Maybe DS graphics aren’t perfect, but we DS- owners can do much much more then you PSP- nerds can do… PSP graphics aren’t good ! DS is the PERFECT gift for christmas, I am very happy I got a DS. Hello, yeah, so I’m a huge Xbox fanboy, and I dont give #### for Psp. Why? Dead pixels, Fragile body, crappy drive etc. The list goes on. the Ds does not break so easily and it has two screens which is cool. also the DS is the best portable system for first person shooters like metroid. the thing with psp is that you cant mouse look with a touch screen. and the analog stick it at the same side as the control pad, which is a big flaw. The games for DS are cool, I dotn know what people are talking about we got Mario DS, Ridge racer, metroid prime, rayman 2 and others. We can also play movies and music, we just gotta import em from our PC, no spending an extra 40 bucks to rebuy our entire DVD colection,=. And to top thing off, WE have 2X better battery, so who’s gonna be better in the long run in a airline trip from canada to australia, or france? The DS so ah we win suckers..

Ok everyone out there who is saying the ds sucks the psp sucks all that bull #@$%.  Ok the fact is i own a nintendo ds and im trying to get rid of it cause i wanna buy a psp.  Im 14 and i think the ds is a good system for people like 7-12 but the games arn’t to apealing for older kids.  I think that nintendo did a nice job.  Sony on the other hand made a system appealing to older kids.  The games are ok on both systems.  Psp’s slightly better.  It does have some good feautres the psp i mean but if u want to store a movie on it ull need 512mb memcard.  (got infor from gameinformer so dont contridict)  the only problem i have with the PSP is the price 250.00 for the psp and 90.00 for mem cards

OMG the PSP is coming out in Europe on September 1st! I am 100 percent sure that Sony has confirmed it. Man that’s unfair. Damit je vraiment l’un ai voulu. I guess I will just have to go to the States this summer. What case should I get for the PSP? Please reply.

i’m sorry everyone, but the ds is not as good as i hoped for. i have been buying nintendo stuff for 8 years, and was really quite pleased with it. the super nintendo was the first thing i got, and i loved it. n64, gc, you name it, they were good. untill this year, i got a ps2. the new smaller one. it was good. it was fun. it kicked ass. i got a bunch of great games like devil may cry, burnout 3, and kingdom hearts. and i stated to like sony a lot more than nintendo. but it can down to the new handhelds. the ds, and the psp. at first i wanted a ds more. like second nature. i said the psp sucks, and the ds is way better, things like that. then i tried the ds at my friends house. it sucked. it sucked bad. i really expected more from people i was so loyal to. so i looked a lot closer at the psp, and my answer came. THE PSP ROCKS AND THE DS IS THE WORST PIECE OF #### I HAVE EVER SEEN. nuff said.

the ds is not nintendos hand held. it was something different they put out to develop another area of gaming. NINtendo repeatable said that the ds is not the next gameboy….the evolution is the next gameboy. You will get to hear about it after e3.  The revolution and the evolution will serious kick ass.  Both systems are suppose to be backwards compatitable for all prior systems.

1. Yesterday, I went the library. There was this idiot playing a PSP. Then he accidentally dropped it onto the ground. (carpet) The PSP broke in half. I laughed like crazy.

2. To pspavenger- Ok, first of all, you could get arrested/fined for something like that, and second of all, maybe you should go back to kindergaten and learn how to spell. But since I’m so nice, I’ll teach you right now.
“abnd” is spelled a-n-d.

You seem to take offense at my atrocious spelling. However, my previous post was merely an attempt to ridicule the level of intelligence displayed in this thread. In no way does it reflect my actual mastery of grammar and spelling. That aside, I have some comments of my own to make:
1.) Never start a sentence with the word “OK”. It makes you sound like a twelve-year-old girl.
2.) Kindergarten is spelled K-I-N-D-E-R-G-A-R-T-E-N.
3.) Contrary to what you might think, “pnuched” is actually spelled P-N-U-C-H-E-D. The fact that it is not a real word makes no difference.
4.) I did not get arrested or fined. I had a whole bag of PSP’s to smash over the heads of the cops that came to arrest me. After my clever escape, I fled the country to my private island near Fiji.

Where did all the DS fanboys come from? Did they get bored of their Dumb syste (DS)? PSP rules, Its not like everyone says and breaks every time you touch it. I mean come on, DS has been on the market longer and it already has a very small selection of games, only about half of what the PSP has, and to all those people who said the PSP graphics sucks, just go look at your DS! Is it so ugly you cant even dare to look at it! About the battery life, there is a new battery that lasts alot longer coming soon.
Pictochat sucks! Thats all I have to say, if you are within 100 feet of a person you might as well TALK! One of you said that people who owned PSP’s were loners, well if you cant even talk to someone without a machine….Ugh…

To pspavenger(who is even stupider than he was yesterday)- Obviously, you can’t smash a PSP on my head because you don’t even know where I live. (another sign of your stupidity) Also, the DS’s “stick thingy” is called a “stylus” (s-t-y-l-u-s) so maybe you should learn more about the DS before you start insulting it. Also, the stylus can’t pop out if the stylus holder. Would a tissue just pop out of a tissue box? Of course not. And there’s no way you could accidentally poke someone in the eye with a stylus unless you were trying to do it, and only an idiot like you would be dumb enough to do something like that. (Styluses are better weapons than PSP’s, since the don’t break when you touch them)

The nintendo ds is a piece of garbage compared to the psp.  I had ds for 2 weeks and i couldn’t stand it anymore.  I traded it in for a psp.  Nintendo has been making handhelds for the past 15 years and they still cant get it right.  Nintendo should just stop.  And I agree with “PSP_OWNS_DS”, pictochat is the lamest thing I have ever seen.

Okay i’ve had experience with both systems, i have a ds, and my brother has a psp, and ive got one thing to say I was playing Ridgeracer on my brothers psp, when i heard someone whispering killme!!!, i thought it was coming from the game, but it got louder i looked outside and no one was there, then i listened again it was me saying that stupid piece of junk was so dissapointing i was muttering killme!!! to my self so i threw it on the table picked up my ds turned it on and played metroid prime hunters:first hunt(great game!!!!!!!!!)

Oh yeah my brothers trading in his shity psp for a ds, so we can play wirelessly and so he can get a better car game. Since the need for speed underground ds is so much better than psp’s need for speed unground:rivals, because it has the free roam mode like on the consoles and plus you can draw designs on your car using the ds stylus.So thats coming from two people and where both above 14 years of age so all you kiddy claiming psp fan boys can kiss my ass
