Here’s something I noticed: A lot of people in my school like the PSP more than the DS, but these people are all those “bad” kids who always get bad grades and get sent to the prinipal’s office every day, you know what I mean?

There have always been #### games - look at the PC market - the difference is that sony has made #### games acceptable. Most PS2 owners are quite happy to play what are essentially #### games with flashy graphics -  they know no different.

Ok Will you guys just shut up already.  I’ve recieved enough emails about this post with the same people going back and forth saying the same things.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion.  Neither of the handhelds have been out long enough to really say which will be better in the end.

I have nothing but love for Nintendo, however I think the PSP beats the DS.  I hope Nintendo does better on the next Gameboy.

However, many feel that the DS is better.  In the end it doesn’t matter.  Buy whichever system you feel is better,  (Or both and get the best of both worlds) and stop coming here and saying the same stuff over and over.

Anyone who continuosly comes and posts in a thread saying DS sucks, PSP sucks, you suck, I punched someone for having a DS/PSP is going to be ignored by anyone who is trying to decide which to buy.  On’y intelligent posts where the person actually gives specific reasons for their feelings will be considered.  Such as I feel that the DS is better because the screne is better protected from scratches because of it folding to protect the screen, or I feel the PSP is better because it is capable of much better graphics, and I can’t stand to play games with bad graphics after playing whatever games that have amazing graphics.

I can’t see how anyone can say the psp sucks. Look at the facts before you post a goddamn comment.
The PSP’s only down side is the cost.  I personly bought a DS, but thats me. The Sony has been kicking nintendos ass for years and it still will. The only reason why the DS got any sales at all was because of one the cost and to the fact that it launched right around christmas time. Thats sad when a company releases a product before it’s competiors just so they can start off with more sales.

The nintendo ds sucks so bad.  Does anyone even buy them anymore?  I went to gamestop to get my psp and I saw 11 nintendo ds’s in the window from people who traded them in.  Plus one more ‘cause of mine.  People were just curious about all its features but now they are just tired of that piece of garbage.  They don’t even deserve to be in a gamestop, they should be sold from behind a dumpster or something.

Okay, DS F***nuts, LISTEN UP.

The PSP is ####### awesome in every conceivable way.  You keep on denying it and playing your kiddie Mario and Pokemon games while developers on PSP-Hacks.com put emulators and roms of GB, GBA, NES, SNES classics for FREE onto the PSP.  My 1GB stick is coming in the mail and I got Die Hard 1 (260MB), 6 episodes of anime (300MB), and 10 CD’s in Atrac3 (300MB) ready to slam onto my kick ass PSP.  Not only that, soon I’ll be playing FF7:Advent Children and the new FF7 PSP exclusive game with the new battery that sony is coming out with to unlock 111MHZ more power (currently it runs at 222MHZ to save power) for the PSP, making it more powerful than the PS2.  And finally, when I hook my PSP to my PS3 this fall and can use it to play all my UMD PSP games, music, and movies HDTV, what are you gonna say, Nintendo DS faggots.

ok i c another psp and ds war. i can say that both systems are good. ihave both and here are pluses. Psp has betetr screen good quality movies and betetr graphics on games plus music and other videos u can dowmload also psp has more good games than ds cause ds mosty has old adventure games which i h8 exepct mario psp has all those good gams and when grand thef auto, grand turismo 4 and godther comes out ds is dead ma only gonna play psp prolly right now games are all righ but still more fun for ds. World War 3: Sony PSP vs. Nintendo DS

A war has begun between two companies to see who is King of the Handheld Market. You may even call this war World War 3 (I wouldn’t go that far, but there are some people out there) or you might not even call it a war. These two companies have worked, designed, and achieved making awesome handheld gaming systems for you, the people (Or should I say the game freaks). Nintendo has long been king of the handheld systems, but a newcomer has just entered the game (You can probably guess who the newcomer is from the title). The newcomer is Sony.

Sony is a company that makes electronics. Like televisions, DVD players, video games, game systems, and other electronic appliances. It is most remembered for its great PlayStation 2. That is the feed back on Sony now on to Nintendo.

Nintendo makes gaming systems and video games. Its latest non handheld system was the GameCube. And that is the feed back on Nintendo. Easy enough right?

Nintendo’s newest handheld system is the one the only Nintendo DS. Just for your information DS stands for Dual Screen. Yes that’s right it does have two screens. One screen is a normal color screen and on the bottom of the Nintendo DS there is the other screen. The screen is a touch pad screen. Just touch it with your stylus and voila. In some games you can speak through a mike to command your character. The average battery life is about 6-10 hours. It is priced around 1,500 kroner in Norway. Sounds pretty cool huh? I would give the Nintendo DS 8.6 out of 10.

Sony’s latest and greatest handheld device is the Sony PSP. You are probably wondering what PSP stands for, huh? Well it stands for PlayStation Portable. Unlike the Nintendo DS the Sony PSP has only one screen. The screen ratio is 16:9. The PSP is sleek, smooth, and was designed very well. It has the normal PS2 controller buttons and it even has an analog stick! Just incase you don’t have a PS2 and you don’t know the buttons they are: X, O, triangle, square, up, down, left, right, the R1 and L1. The Sony PSP uses UMD format for its games. That means you can’t play your PS2 games on it, but you can play European UMD games on an American PSP. The PSP can play DVD’s in UMD format, but it can’t play ordinary DVD’s. Its graphics are pretty much well Godly. The PSPs release date was set for March 24 of 2005 in the United States. The release date for Europe is going to be on September 1st. The battery life is about 4-6 hours. It will be sold in a value pack for $249.99. I would give the PSP 9.7 out of 10.
