Pre-order Nintendo Wii Starting Tomorrow At GameStop and EB

Alright Nintendo fanboys - if you want to guarantee yourself a Wii console on launch day, and truly believe that all 2 million will be snapped up, head on over to GameStop or EB Games tomorrow. Wii pre-orders start Friday ithe 13th here in North America, and it looks like the stores are trying to keep this as fair as possible. You have to come in and put $50 down to secure your console, and stores are not allowed to open early for those wanting to reserve a console. One unit per household is allowed, and reservations are on a first-come first-served basis. Oh, and the best part, no forced bundles to secure your Wii. So head on over to your local game store and put down some cash. Let us know how it goes.

Wonder how bad they will screw this one up. Overselling “reservations” and all. Of course I am sure it is hard to estimae the amount of consoles they get, I knew people waiting months to get their “pre-ordered” 360 that they had paid in full! Hopefully they are a bit more organized and have a bit more info from nintendo this time.
