Lower Prices for AMD Chips
AMD slashed the prices on some of their chips today following the introduction the new Opteron server chips. Some chips saw price cuts of up to 35 percent. The two most notable drops belong to the Athlon 64 3800 and 3700+ processors which have been made popular by many a PC gamer. These chips were lowered by 34 percent and 30 percent respectively. If you are in the market for one of these chips or thinking of upgrading, now is your chance to get high performance at a lower cost.
