As a Service Tech for a company that deals with BPL (Broadband over Powerlines) in the greater Cincinnati Area I have a large variety of ‘tech gear’ that would fit nicely into the Brain Bag. I usually carry a what some people call ‘spy gadget’ belt with all my gadgets on it, sort of like a secret agent, all i need is a grappling hook! My gear is everywhere and includes, but is not limitted to: my Blackberry 7750 handheld cell / PDA for email and appointments on the go, Nextel i530 mobile phone for constant contact with Network Operations, and a Nokia cell phone (AKA- backup phone). Clipboard, pens, paperwork of all sorts and folders float around my bag now, leaving it cluttered in a mess at times. Field modems, a variety of extra wires (coax, bnc, fiber, ethernet, etc.) all of which I manage to fit into my dell notebook bag with my Latitude D600 for feild operations, oh yeah don’t forget the logitech cordless duo usb wireless mouse! I also have a gear bag now in addition to my notebook bag which is one too many bags to lug around usually. Into this I put plugs, extenders, another large vareity of cords, flashlights, tools, screw drivers, screws, outlet testera, a knife, tape, test equipment of all sorts, a Canon ZR70-MC video camera, somtimes even a second digital camera, as well as power cords for all my other gear and more! I also have a whole second list of stuff that just fits into my service vehicle and with this gear I swap it around daily. This is a daily task keeping track of everything and making sure its in its proper place, something thats exciting and fun, yet would most likely be easier with a bag like this one smile. I’m always adding a new piece of gear each week it seems, sometimes more! This bag would impress all the other Techs and maybe even bring everything I carry around to good and easy use each and every day!

Hi,

The Tom Bihn Brain Bag would be an excellent companion for me as carry these items with me Monday to Friday (and what would happen if I didn’t carry these items)

1. Toshiba Satellite laptop (no laptop, no work)
2. Palm Tungsten T2 (no PDA, no schedules)
3. Nextel i730 cellphone (no cellphone, no calling wife to tell her “I love you”)
4. Olympus c5060 digital camera (no camera = missing loads of good photo-ops)
5. iPod (my in-ear dance club while commuting)
6. Wallet (no money, no “making the world go around”)
7. Notepads (no paper, no writing down of good ideas)

...and of course, no Tom Bihn Brain Bag = no optimal way of carrying the above items.

thanks,
