online games, and also sales and hot deals for games

I would like to see some video reviews of products.  That would be cool.

i would like reviews on Video Cards, processors, etc hardware for gamers. News on the latest gamer hardware would also be awesome. Perhaps some game reviews would really interest people. THe latest releases and even links to get the demo or trailor, screenshots. A forum where gamers can talk about gaming, their problems with gaming and etc. Maybe some game giveaways?

I would like to see reviews and previews for gaming-related software and hardware.

if you could gather links to demos of games you feature it would be cool

updates on latest gaming acessories/hardware. Monthly list of new game releases. game reviews. cheat section can generate more traffic. Should fix the Categories section. Should have only the systems down (X-box,PS2 etc.) from there another page for that list the diff game genre for that particular system. (X-Box->FPS->CS)

A better template, one that doesnt look like gearlive as much.  Also less adds or better placed ones.

Some E3 coverage would be cool!  with some exlusive vids!!

I’d love to see contests for free games!

some actual reviews would be kinda nice.

besides more reviews and previews, i think playfeed needs to get rid of the yellow background. In my opinion it looks ugly and makes me not want to go back. A new techy style would be great.

It would be dope if you guys had comparisons of all the different versions of a game if it’s on different platforms. You know, like a comparison of the graphics and if there’s any extras in a different versions tell about them. Also, one thing I don’t like about IGN is that they rate games by Playability, but the games they rated the highest usuallly aren’t all that fun to play after a while. Also, can you list the soundtrack music on certain games?

I would like to see some reviews, game tips, cheats and videos, you gotta have videos, maybe have a section for user submited videos? That would be interesting.

I would like to see more updates. Sites like Gizmodo and Engadget are also some of the sites on my browser bookmark bar, and they seem to update quite often.

I would like to see a “Rumor Mill” section sort of like “Think Secret” where you discuss rumors and confirmed/unconfirmed announcements on all the systems.

Josh

I would like to see some well written strategy guides and faqs.

Hacking the PSP and other consoles

I’d like to see detailed user reviews of games and products maybe with some kind of rating system.

I would like a “Inside the Game Industry” section…. in other words not just when the games are coming out but what’s going in the industry as well.

I’d like to see some game demos for download perhaps, and definitely game ratings.

It would be nice to see a knowledge base or faq collection on hardware and possibly games. Also a section on hacks and or mods possible on consoles.

How about a mailbag?  I also like how some other sites are giving registered users space to create personal profiles to create more a “community” setting.

could use some darker color, make it more attractive

I would like to see game reviews, there are a lot of sites out there that review games, but most of them suck and give bad ratings. SHOW EM HOW ITS DONE.

I’d like to see some sort of LAN gaming portal or at least a seperate forum for organizing or setting up LAN games in my city.

Maybe even a chat interface to quickly find challengers for online games.

I would like to see videos like for reviews because some sites have reviews but theyre too long. So it would be nice to see some video reviews.

I would like to see video reviews and news done gamespot style.  Maybe short previews too if you can get your hands on it.  A section just based on all next gen consoles would be cool too.

Vids of E3 are always hilarious.

I’d like to see a retro gaming section.  One that includes the full sized arcade machines and old consol systems like turbografx 16, 3D0, etc.  Thanks!

i would like to see maybe some game guides and maybe reviews with a ranking system.

i would like to see unbiased opinions on videogame reviews.

Reviews would be cool obviously and who knows it might not be long before playfeed would get early releases of games and such to review like some of the other big sites wink.

Maybe doing video reviews would be a nice way to do it wink. Though don’t know how much I like those yet and the only thing I know I like about it is being able to see ingame video.

I also like the idea of having sections for game mods and such. Mods give a ton of extra life to games that we buy (pc games). A nice collection of mods or at least links to mods, for the bigger games (ut2k4, halflife2, doom…) would be great. Maybe even creating a new modder community where modders could gather and share their files and such wink.

Oh and did someone mention contest like this on playfeed too? heheh.

I want to see Playfeed do something with Halo 2 and xbox live… like monthly tournaments, a special clan, etc. etc.

I would like to see an area for internet flash based games- and keep track of their high scores as well as a section for people to post flash games that they’ve made themselves.

I would like to see a section on the hardware gamers use to play their favorite games.  Someone could post a picture of their gaming setup, post their specs, and list what games can be played.  I think that this would make the buying and upgrading process much easier once you can see the components at work and get advice from other gamers like you.

I would like to see where you can buy the games at best prices.  Excellent Reviews, trailers, guides, etc.  Also, screenshots and forums where players can chat about the game.

i think it’d be cool to have a live chat going on

It would be cool to have reviews of games and even servers for the site like in Cstrike and Halo.

This is kind of stupid, But i would actually like to see a part of the site devoted to stores that have new games in their kiosks. Me and my friends always go to different VG stores to find out which store might have a new game to play, and well I think it would be a lot of help if people would submit what games are available to demo at the stores near them, then the results could be published to the site.

I would like to see review of gaming hardware; specifically mice/keyboards/monitors.

would be very cool to devote a section to people who’ve built their own home gaming machines: mods, hacks, mame cabinets, et cetera…

I’d like to see massive FPS coverage, and some editors who take Nintendo’s new innovative spirit seriously instead of writing it off as “gimicky”

I would enjoy it if you guys at feedplay add a Daily Opinion Poll on Game Business News or Video Games News In Genral (New Releases,Company Earnings,Changes Withing the Gaming Community). A Daily Poll can give an idea of what people think on a current issue about the Gaming World.

I would like to see online games, and forums, so that people who visit the site can exchage ideas and opinions about the site and the games that the sites reviews.

I would like to see and nice organized forums for every console/game. That would be great smile

Can i be honest? this is kinda lame, people are only posting comments so they can win something. I notice people are not posting on other news. This is the problem here. I feel that gearlive shouldnt invest more time and effort in promoting playfeed.

a game console i think should belong on gearlive.
simple because its a Gear.  If you think about, Playfeed is almost the same as gearlive, why not just keep it together? build on gearlive, put that time and effort in improving this website? I can never find any good website where they have everything i want to read.  I mean where i can visit a site and still be surfing on it for hours on end.

Gearlive, you should just improve on the categories you have now and add the games categories too it. As for the other comment i made about why people only post to this thread and what gearlive should do it make people post to other thread without having to give them something for it. I think the method of going to your email account to verify the person post should be change. i just think its a long process. why not create something where i just make a quick post? maybe to verify. Gearlive will have a pop up approval?  So if that person wants to post something. they would have to turn off there pop up blockers to your site. Doing that you can use that pop up to your advantage and make some money off of it on avertisment on a small amount pop ups.

And my very last comment,  why is it that if i make this comment and forget to type in the special word below that it takes me to the next page and when i click back i have to type it all over again? i think this site needs a script to keep the person comment without losing it if they forget to type in the special word.

So again. i think gearlive should just incorprate everything onto this website, and forget about playfeed, i just think its a waste of time and resource on Gearlive’s part. just imporve on your navigation on this site. I think this will bring more people to visit your site.

As for the people who posted before me. they have made some good points regarding the content.  but i think in order to improve you need more then just content, you need a good navigational site and easy methods to of posting comments.

I dont want to say i dont care about winning, but it would be really nice to win the iriver. good luck everybody

After you post a story, and a link to it, I usually find it hard to find pictures about the story, even on the linked site.

Altough, it would take more time on your side to gather pictures, it would really keep me coming back (and, I bet, others).

So, just like you have a “Comments” section under each story, a “Photo album” would be sweet.

Don’t forget emulators and non-traditional platforms like handhelds.

A PSP Section with saves, demos, compatible videos and pix would be real cool. Giveaway will also be a great as it will attract more members and will make PlayFeed popular and fast.

You could also make a “retro” section on the website where you can get cool info and news on old video games/systems. (like the new 8ft. NES controller or cool retro video games/systems on eBay auctions.)

wow totalfixation i think has the right idea hes my hero
but im only posting to win something lol
still make one site with everything is better then going every where to get my daily fix of geekism
