FHP to Produce New 60” HD and HD Ready Models

FHPTVFujitso Hitachi Plasma (FHP) announced today that they will begin production of a new 60” HD and HD-Ready (1280x1080) TV. The HD model features a brightness of 1000cd/m2 for a contrast ratio of 5000:1, while the HD-Ready version boasts a brightness of 1300cd/m2 for a contrast ratio of 10000:1. Sales are slated to begin March of 2007.
