Creative Zen Vision
Now this I like. I knew it would take a couple of generations before companies started getting PMP’s right, with Archos leading the pack so far in my mind - that is, unless you can to throw the PSP into the mix. However, Creative has a new PMP that they are set to drop on us - the Creative Zen Vision. I am really liking the specs, most notably the size. Check it out: Supports MPEG4, WMV, Dvix, XviD, MP3, WMA, WAV, JPG, TIFF. It has a 30 GB hard drive, FM tuner, voice recorder, CF slot, 640x480 pixels 64,000 Color 3.7-inch TFT-LCD Display, and weighs 232 grams - just shy over half a pound. The only real downer here is that it doesn’t record video directly, but that interface was clumsy in previous PMP’s anyway. From the looks of things, we may see this hit the market by the end of June.

would be nice if they included a silicon tv tuner. It should not make it any more bulky than it already is.

Looks good to me, but look at the top of the screen. That is the exactly same design as the top of the iPod Color screen.

Can you tell us which iPod exactly this is a remake of? Which iPod does video? Which iPod has an FM tuner and a CF card slot? Which iPod has a user replacable battery? Oh you must be talking about the controls. The iPod has the round touch pad and this has the same…oh wait it doesn’t. My bad.

Yeah noriko. you must be completely retarded, theres no similarities at all. And Bootes, the screen images are simulated, in case u hadnt realised, and theres a good chance they wont look like that on the real thing!!

okay, whatever, so the preproduction photo cropped off the internet has a screen that looks something like the iPod Photo. Who gives a flying f**k ? It’s like an iPod. But better…

No the zen vision does not have zoom on photos. But still it is an amazing piece of equipment. I cant wait to get mine (ships in tomorrow!). And yes Noriko your are a n00b.
