Blockbuster Allows Mailers to Drop Flix With Total Access

Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Home Entertainment, Movies

Blockbuster logoIn an attempt to keep up with Netflix, Blockbuster has announced that it will now allow online rental users to return their movies in-store. Not only that, you can get a free in-store rental if you do so. Blockbuster offers differing Total Access plans that include $9.99 a month service plus a bonus movie coupon if you order one at a time, up to the $17.99 Total Access plan that allows you to order 3 simultaneously. Sign up now and you get a free trial membership for two weeks.

While Netflix has about 5.7 million subscribers, Blockbuster, who doesn’t like to come in second, had only about 1.5 million by the end of September. Granted they are making leaps and bounds in the attempt, but we’re going to wait until they offer a free pizza to go with our movie.
