Apple Releases Three New TV Ads

Posted by Yuan Zhao Categories: Apple, PC / Laptop

Apple releases new ads Apple has just released three new advertisements to complement their already expansive and controversial lineup of Mac ads. With competition fierce in the computer market, especially now that Apple is utilizing the same hardware as PC manufacturers, any edge can prove vital for the Cupertino-based company. The three clips, entitled “Accident”, “Angel/Devil”, and “Trust Mac”, continue the same trends established in previous ads by elevating Mac features and playing down PC’s.

There are yet ANOTHER three ads coming out soon. I don’t have the names, but I have images taken from inside the Apple store. One of them even has a cross-dresser in the ad.

I can’t say i really care for those ads, they remind me too much of political ads in the way they focus on the negatives of their competition rather than the positives of themselves. Also the ad with a cross dresser in it is just asking for a mass complaint, I doubt it ever hits TV.

Yeah, I saw those commercials.  I also see myself being called by alot of mac people that are frustrated why they cant find software that they previously used on a pc.  Considering that a mac is basically a pc (hardware wise) with a mac os, I dont think there is much difference, as I have a spare dell pc running osx 10.4.7. I really cant do anything on it as I dont have any mac software, but overall, its not that much faster in anything, ie video compression, file compression, etc.
