What a “geeky” idea !
It don’t think the mouse remains easy to use when there’s something plugged on the USB port

As creative as this project is. It’s just not the best idea because of were the port is. You really can’t use the mouse efficently or comfortably. Unless you use another mouse then it’s cool. An extra item on your desk to freak out co-workers and friends
