When Apple announced the Retina display packing, FaceTime rocking iPod touch 2010 model, we knew this thing was gonna be a hit. We’re currently hard at work on our iPod touch review, but in the meantime we’ve snapped a bunch of pics of what’s gotta be the best looking iPod touch to date. Seriously, this thing is thin to the point of ridiculousness. Obviously with the Retina display, the screen looks sharp, and you also gain camera on both the front and back of the unit. Take a gander at the gallery.

Samsung Epic 4G unboxing gallery

Today, Sprint launched the Samsung Epic 4G smartphone, their second Android phone that can tap into their 4G network. We have our hands on the device, and we’ve taken a bunch of shots to show off Samsung’s only QWERTY keyboard-sporting Galaxy S device. Amazon Kindle 3 (2010) unboxing gallery

When Amazon announced the Kindle 3 last month, the price alone made it obvious that it would be the best-selling Kindle that Amazon has ever put out. However, the specs and size of the device just add to the fact that this is the eBook reader to own if you are looking for a standalone device. Our Kindle 3 review is also live, giving you all our thoughts on the latest from Amazon, but feel free to feast your eyes on our unboxing gallery and get a look at the new hotness from all angles.

TiVo Slide Bluetooth QWERTY remote control unboxing gallery

It’s always been kind of a chose to “type” in the TiVo, but with the release of the TiVo Premiere and its discovery and search features—alongside its ridiculously slow interface—typing is downright awful. The TiVo Slide remote aims to change all that, giving you pretty much the same TiVo remote you’ve grown used to over the years (just more compact) with an integrated QWERTY slider keyboard. It all works over Bluetooth, and in the end, should make that hunt-and-peck typing a thing of the past. We will be bringing you a TiVo Slide review shortly, but in the meantime, enjoy these unboxing shots!

The folks over at OWC just got one of the new 2.66GHz 12-core Mac Pro units in their office, and they slapped together and quick and dirty unboxing gallery showing off the goods. Of course, with Apple sticking by their longstanding top-of-the-line desktop design, nothing on the outside really looks all the much different. Still, though, it’s a sign that these beasts are finally shipping, and that’s gotta count for something.

Samsung Captivate Galaxy S unboxing

As mentioned previously, the Samsung Captivate launches on July 18th on AT&T for $199, making it the first respectable (in our opinion) Android smartphone on the AT&T network. So while you’ll have to wait until Sunday to get your hands on one, we were able to get an early look at the device thanks to AT&T, and while our review is forthcoming, we put together an unboxing gallery showing off the device. Motorola Droid X unboxing

The Motorola Droid X gets released next week, and we were able to get our hands on the device a bit early to bring you some coverage. In case you’re unfamiliar, the Droid X will be available on Verizon, and sports a 4.3-inch 480x854 display, 8 megapixel camera, and can record 720p HD. It also has the ability to act as a mobile 3G hotspot for up to 8 devices, and can connect to an external display using HDMI. Verizon HTC Droid Incredible unboxing gallery

We recently mentioned that Google announced that the Nexus One wouldn’t be hitting Verizon, and the reason behind the decision is that there is a better option in the Droid Incredible from HTC. We recently got our hands on a Droid Incredible, and we’ve been playing with it for a couple of days now, steadily forming our opinion of the device. While the full review isn’t ready yet, we can comfortably say that we like the Incredible quite a bit more than the Nexus One. Look out for our review in a few days, but in the meantime, we’ve got a Droid Incredible gallery for you, giving you a look at the aesthetics of the device.

iPad Keyboard Dock unboxing gallery

While the iPad launched on April 3, it took Apple a couple of weeks to get the iPad Keyboard Dock into stores and into the hands of iPad owners, many of whom complained about not having a comfortable method of inputting text into the device. Of course, you can also use a Bluetooth keyboard with the iPad, or you can use the on-screen keyboard in landscape mode—in fact, we typed our entire iPad review on the iPad digital keyboard. However, for those that wanted the keyboard dock, which can even charge the iPad while you are using it, it’s finally available. We’ve put together this unboxing gallery to show off the device from all angles, and we’ll have a review for you soon. In the meantime, you can pick up your own iPad Keyboard Dock at the Apple Store online for $69.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 unboxing gallery

We just got the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 digital camera in for review, and we must say, we are pretty stoked. We were big fans of last year’s DMC-ZS3, and the ZS7 improves upon that model with a 16x intelligent optical zoom, 12.1 megapixel images, much improved facial recognition, and GPS integration. We’re excited to put this one through the paces, especially with the built-in geotagging, and we will have that to you soon. In the meantime, we’ve put together a Lumix DMC-ZS7 unboxing gallery to show off the goods. Check it out!
