Beyonce Felt Free with New Album

BeyonceBeyonce feels a "responsibility" to her fans and their children.

The singer claimed her recent self-titled album has given her the opportunity to be herself after spending 15 years focusing on how she appeared to her younger fans.

Speaking in a new YouTube video called "Honesty," she said, "Now I'm in my 30s, and those children that grew up listening to me have grown up, and I always felt like it was my responsibility to be aware of kids and their parents and all these generations. And I felt like, in a sense, I could not express everything. I've done so many things in my life, in my career, that I feel like at this point I've earned the right to be me and to express any and every side of myself."

Beyoncé: I Was Really Nervous About Releasing New Album

BeyonceBeyonce was "really nervous" about the surprise release of her self-titled LP.

The "Drunk in Love" singer, who is celebrating selling more than one million copies of her fifth studio record, admits it was a "huge risk" releasing it without any prior promotion. She answered fans' questions via her Instagram account at the weekend at a screening for the record's accompanying music videos.

"I was terrified. I was so scared. I already envisioned like the worst things that could happen. Honestly, I was at a point where I felt like, you know, everything feels the same. That's how I felt and if I could not challenge that, then maybe it's time for me to do something else or develop more artists, which is something I want to do," she posted. "I just hope that I continue to move forward and challenge myself, and I think now that I've become a mother, I just want my legacy to inspire people."

Meanwhile, retailers such as Amazon and American company Target are refusing to stock Beyonce after it was released exclusively on iTunes. The digital giant were given a one week exclusive window to sell the 14-song, 17-video album, which features contributions from Drake, Jay Z and Justin Timberlake.

LordeLorde thinks she looks like Gollum from Lord of the Rings when she performs on stage.

The 17-year-old star likened herself to the ugly fictional character from J.R.R Tolkien's tales during a question and answer session with fans on entertainment website Reddit. "I know when I'm on stage, I don't think about how it looks, I just concentrate on really feeling what I hear. But I totally know I look like Gollum when I perform, so it's cool," the "Royals" singer explained.

Lorde also revealed she "hates dentists," when asked why she referred to her teeth so much in her debut album, Pure Heroine. In an hour, the Kiwi singer attracted almost 5,000 questions and comments during the "Ask Me Anything" session. During that time, she confirmed she would be performing at a "major festival" in North America in 2014 and revealed for her next video, she is deciding between the album tracks Ribs, 400 Lux and Buzzcut.

Justin Bieber, Metallica

The members of Metallica are Justin Bieber fans.

The "Sad But True" heavy metal legends are impressed by 19-year-old teen heartthrob Justin Bieber - whose fans are affectionately referred to as Beliebers - after he said their tracks "One" and "Fade to Black" are his "jams." Speaking to Q Magazine, singer James Hetfield said, "Are we Beliebers? Yes."

Drummer Lars Ulrich added, "Is it possible to have respect for him without being a Belieber? I think the kid's really talented and obviously to go through what he's going through at that early age must be a mind***k. So the fact that he still goes out there and does it, I admire that and I think he's super talented, so I guess I am kind of a Belieber. If he likes 'One,' and Liam Gallagher likes him, OK, there you go."

"OK MONSTERS! Now that you've seen some of ARTPOP Live, what would be YOUR pick for 2nd Single?RT for MANiCURE FAV for SEXDREAMS...Or are you an...RT for AURA FAV for SWINE (sic)" she wrote.

"Sex Dreams" popularity follows the singer's admission the songs risque lyrics were inspired by her own erotic dreams. Writing on Twitter, Gaga - who is dating actor Taylor Kinney - said, "#SexDreams is me talking to two different lovers. One im with in reality, the other in fantasy. (separated by me singing vs. speaking). #SexDreams chorus is that moment when you wake up sweaty from that dream and laugh because you know you got away with something naughty! (sic)"

Eminem to Surprise Fans with Album

EminemEminem wants to surprise fans with his new album.

Slaughterhouse members Royce Da 5' 9'' and Joell Ortiz - who are signed to the rapper's own Shady Records label - believe the "Not Afraid" hitmaker is deliberately keeping quiet about his upcoming eighth album because he doesn't want to give anything away until he's completed the final edit.

"Em's whole thing is the element of surprise. That's how it's always been with him," Royce said.

"He gets in to his own world. I too am like him in a way. I like to go in to my cave and get the meat and potatoes of my album done before I venture out because I've gotta figure out the sound. So I'm sure that's probably what he's doing," Joel added.

The 40-year-old superstar has yet to announce a release date or a title for the hotly-anticipated record, but photographs of him in the recording studio with comedian Chris Rock and rappers Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar have surfaced.

Beyonce Slapped by Fan at Copenhagen Show

Beyonce in concertBeyonce was slapped on the butt by a male fan during her show in Denmark last night.

The 31-year-old singer was performing her track "Irreplaceable" at the Forum Copenhagen in a segment of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour where she interacts with the audience as she struts on a catwalk. After handing her microphone to different fans to sing-a-long with the track she turned to go back to the main stage when the admirer outstretched his arm out to touch her bottom.

In video footage capturing the moment, Beyonce is seen turning around and looking shocked as the crowd gasp at the man's action, before she threatens to have him thrown out of the concert. Looking directly at the fan, she can be heard saying, "I will have you escorted out right now, alright?"

Beyonce Releases Controversial New Material

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Gossip, Leaks, Pop, R&B / Soul, New Releases,

BeyonceBeyonce has released two new tracks, "Bow Down" and "I Been On." The 31-year-old singer unveiled an audio clip of her first new material since 2011's 4 album on her website yesterday. The track was accompanied by a photo of the singer as a child standing in a room full of trophies.

Lyrics include the lines, "I know when you were little girls you dreamt of being in my world / Don't forget it / Respect that / Bow Down b****es." Elsewhere she sings, "I took my time to live my life but don't think I'm just his little wife / Don't get it twisted this is my sh*t."

The clip takes pieces from two different songs, "Bow Down," which has reportedly been produced by Hit-Boy and "I Been On" which is thought to have been made with Timbaland.

Beyonce's lyrics appear to refer to her absence from the music industry as she has become a mother to daughter Blue Ivy, now 14-months, and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, but her choice of words and apparent attitude have divided opinion. "I'm not sorry that @beyonce is a trend-setter and doesn't sound like everyone else. It's about changing the game #beyhive (sic)" one fan wrote on Twitter.

Axl Rose to Be Sued by Fan

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Concerts / Tours, Gossip, Rock,

Axl RoseA Guns N' Roses fan is to sue Axl Rose after the singer knocked his teeth out with a microphone.

Darren Wright damaged his two front teeth and injured his mouth after the singer threw his mic into the crowd at the end of the band's set at Australia's Perth Arena on Saturday and has now started legal proceedings to have his dental work paid for, saying it will take months to complete at a cost of $5,000.

"With the bright lights and explosions, I couldn't see anything. The next thing I knew, I was whacked in the mouth. I thought I had been punched. I was quite stunned and it took a few seconds to realize what was going on. I could feel bits of teeth in my mouth. Then someone is climbing through my legs to grab the microphone. I don't think he intended to do it, but it came at me at a fairly flat and hard trajectory. Those cordless microphones are not light. I'm surprised it didn't do more damage. At the very least, I want someone to pay to get my teeth fixed," he said.
