Although Whitney Houston is not set to tour the UK until April, television audiences got a preview of what to expect last night.

During last night’s X Factor, the singer performed the song “Million Dollar Bill”...and nearly gave viewers quite a show.

The professional, of course, didn’t let the malfunction interrupt her performance and even acknowledged the mishap at the end. “I sang myself out of my clothes,” she joked.

Description is toning down her image for her trip to Israel.  The “Poker Face” singer - famed for her provocative outfits and routines - has vowed to be respectful while she is in the Jewish country and can’t wait to see “sacred and holy” Jerusalem.  She added her visit to the holy city will be “an emotional and spiritual experience.”  However, the 23-year-old blonde - who plans to swim in the Dead Sea - admits she won’t be able to curb all her wild behavior and has confessed she might “get drunk in Jerusalem.”

Lady Gaga, who will perform the last show of her “Fame Ball” tour in Tel Aviv tonight, is not the first star ordered to tone down their image during a visit to a religious country.  In October 2007, canceled her concert in Malaysia after she was told to follow the Muslim country’s strict dress code.  Gwen Stefani was also told to cover up during her Malaysian concert in August 2007.  The flamboyant star wore sober outfits but called it a “major sacrifice”.  She put jackets over her tops and leotards underneath her skirts and dresses, to conform to the guidelines during the show.  Madonna was warned about her raunchy stage show for her concert in Russia’s St. Petersburg earlier this month.
