Queens of the Stone Age Plan New Album

Queens of the Stone Age

Queens of the Stone Age are planning on recording another album this year.

The band - which includes Troy Van Leeuwen, Dean Fertita, Michael Shuman, Jon Theodore and Josh Homme - will begin working on a follow-up to their sixth studio album ...Like Clockwork, which was released in June 2013, and frontman Josh is excited about what the year has in store for them. When quizzed on future albums, he said, "Absolutely. We have more than enough songs. We're booked 'til September, but after that we plan to jump in the studio and get going."

Joshua enjoys "getting lost" when he is working on new tracks and finds this can lead to an "amazing moment." Josh explained, "When it's time to make music, that's about getting lost for me. To be a control freak is not half as good as being a freak who's casually in control. You're feeling around in the dark for something that feels good. As long as you're not in an orgy, that can be an amazing moment."
