The Killers Promise a Concert Surprise

The Killers

The Killers have promised a host of surprises for their upcoming concert directed by Werner Herzog.

The group are collaborating with the legendary director for a September 18 show for the American Express Unstaged music series, which will coincide with the launch of their latest album Battle Born, and bassist Mark Stoermer says they are ruling nothing out.

"[Werner] has ideas for someone crowd-surfing with a camera on. I think there's gonna be an animal involved. I'm sure it will be all done the right way," Stoermer said.

The show will be live streamed from the Paradise Theater in the Bronx, New York at www.youtube.com/TheKillersVEVO and www.amexunstaged.com and frontman Brandon Flowers revealed the group were "honored" to work with Werner: We're so honored to work with Werner Herzog. He's made some legendary films and we can't believe we got him to do this."

This will be the 11th performance within the innovative live stream music series and sees The Killers follow in the footsteps of performers including Usher, Jack White and Mary J. Blige. For more information go to www.americanexpress.com/entertainment
