Lady GagaAlways one to try something bold and socially helpful, Lady Gaga announced that her upcoming Born This Way Ball shows will provide free counseling sessions to attendees who seek it.

Therapists will be available at a pre-show "tailgating experience" on the BornBrave Bus, which will also feature food, games, and DJ sets from Lady Starlight.

"BornBrave Bus Is a place where mental health + depression are taken seriously w/ no judgement, FREE real help available to all... I feel like most kids don't look for help because they feel embarrassed so mom + I wanted to break the stigmas around 'help' and make it fun," Gaga wrote on her Facebook.

In light of recent shootings and the LGBT community's continuing struggle for acceptance in some areas, Gaga's spotlight on mental health is quite admirable.

The Born This Way Ball kicks off in Vancouver on January 11.
