UPDATE: Cee Lo has confirmed that he has recorded a new version of "F**k You" with Paltrow.

Through the magic of Glee, Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow and Grammy nominee Cee Lo Green came together when the former covered a song originally created by the latter. Now, rumor has it the two will actually work together to bring us something new.

E! News is reporting the two will be doing some sort of duet. “We've been considering a few things actually,” Cee Lo told E! “It's a little too early to commit to a statement and I won't ruin the surprise because whatever we're going to do is going to be extra cool.”

Just don’t expect it to be a Cee Lo appearance on Glee. The singer said he would only appear on the show “If they’re ready to go there and get down and dirty, then we got ourselves a deal. I’ll do it then.”

Gwyneth Paltrow, however, will definitely be back for a guest stint on the series. She’ll reprise her role as substitute teacher Holly Holiday sometime in 2011.

Glee returns to the air following the Super Bowl on February 6.
