In this picture, Christie Burke looks like she could definitely be the half-vampire daughter of Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). . .but, did she manage to sell that to the casting directors? Rumor has it that she’s nailed the part of grown-up Renesmee Cullen, daughter of Bella and Edward -- and, she definitely looks the part.
It’s been reported that cuter-than-cute Mackenzie Foy will play the younger version of Renesmee in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part I.

Rumor holds that actress Mackenzie Foy is very close to being cast as Renesmee Cullen, daughter of Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart), in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2.
Foy doesn’t have a lot of experience in the industry, with a few commercials and three brief TV appearances on record.

Planet of the Apes: The apes will rise again in 2011 when Fox delivers a Planet of the Apes prequel. The movie - currently titled Rise of the Apes - will have photo-realistic apes incorporated into the cautionary tale. The story, written by The Relic‘s Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa, will explain how genetic engineering experimentation lead to the apes’ development. The Rupert Wyatt-directed film will be set in present-day San Francisco.

Robert Pattinson Likes Gus Van Sant for Breaking Dawn

Jamie Campbell Bower and Robert Pattinson apparently have two different visions for the Breaking Dawn adaptation.
In a recent interview, New Moon‘s Bower said would love to see his Sweeney Todd boss, Tim Burton, behind the camera for the fourth installment. “I think he’d just change it up. I think he’d screw around with it quite a lot, and aesthetically, I think it’d be incredibly different,” Jamie said. But which direction would Pattinson like to see the film go?

30 Days of Night: Cold-loving bloodsuckers have just been granted a lengthier stay. Principal photography on 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, a sequel to the 2007 horror film, is already underway. The movie, which will be directed by Ben Ketai, will center on vampire hunters searching for a queen (Mia Kirshner). Diora Baird, Harold Perrineau, Kiele Sanchez and Rhys Coiro all co-star.
