Rupert Grint’s post-Potter problems
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Casting, Celeb News, Filmmaking,
Rupert Grint had trouble adjusting to small film sets after working on the Harry Potter movies. The flame-haired actor - who plays wizard Ron Weasley in the long-running series based on the novels of J. K. Rowling - was confused when he worked on British projects ‘Cherrybomb’ and ‘Wild Target’ because he had been used to big budget environments. He told Total Film magazine: “It was quite an adjustment going from ‘Harry Potter’ to doing the low-budget films. It threw me a little - it’s just such a different way of making a film. But I prefer the pace of low budgets because it’s much more in the moment.”
The 22-year-old star also reveals he is due to star in a biopic about British ski jumper Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards, but is nervous about it because he has never strapped on a pair of skis in his life. He said: “It’ll be great if it happens but we’ll see. I’m looking forward to the challenge because he’s such a big character. “I’ve never skied in my life, so I guess that might be a problem - but I’m sure I’ll pick it up.”

Emma Watson Reveals Details on Brand New Deathly Hallows Scene
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Warner Bros, Action, Adaptation, Adventure, Science Fiction, Sequels, Upcoming Releases,
Those who have read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows already have a pretty good idea of what the movie will be like.
In a recent interview, the film’s main trio of stars (Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe) talked about some of the stunning visuals. Harry Potter himself spoke of the “huge pile of rubble” in the Hogwart’s courtyard and Voldemort “brutalizing and desperately trying to kill a 17-year-old boy.” Rupert Grint says the movie begins to turn “into a bit of a war film. The castle is on fire with rubble and bodies littered everywhere.”
But only Emma Watson revealed something truly juicy: a never-before-seen scene that was written especially for the screen. You can’t read this one in a book, folks. Find out what Hermione Granger revealed after the jump…

First Full-Length Deathly Hallows Trailer
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Warner Bros, Action, Adaptation, Adventure, Family, Science Fiction, Sequels, Trailers, Upcoming Releases,
I’d like to thank the brilliant marketer who supplied us with this timely - and temporary - distraction from all the Eclipse madness.
Although we were already offered a glimpse of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I earlier this month, any new opportunity to stare at Voldemort’s nostrils is always welcome. It’s also very exciting to see Superman‘s General Zod make a cameo on those railroad tracks. (What? That’s not… Well, it looks like an epic movie anyway.)
What does Harry Potter have that’s “worth living for”? Find out when Part 1 of the “motion picture event of a generation” unfolds on November 19.

Rupert Grint Feared Cherrybomb Sex Scenes
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Drama, Foreign, Independent, Thrillers, Celeb News, Celebrity Gossip, Filmmaking, Upcoming Releases,
Rupert Grint admits that it was “nerve-wracking” filming his first sex scene.
The actor had already had an on-screen kiss in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince but says getting intimate in new movie Cherrybomb was a lot harder.
“In Harry Potter it was just a kiss, really. It was suggestive more than anything. This was a lot more intimate. It was quite nerve-wracking. I was quite nervous about it.”

Daniel Radcliffe Strips For Harry Potter
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Warner Bros, Action, Adaptation, Adventure, Family, Science Fiction, Sequels, Thrillers, Celeb News, Celebrity Gossip, Rumors, Upcoming Releases,
Definitely one who does not fear nudity, Daniel Radcliffe will bare all twice in the next Harry Potter movie.
The actor - who has previously stripped for his part in stage production Equus, both in London and New York - will stun fans when he gets close to Emma Watson’s character Hermione Granger during a fantasy sequence in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows.
Director David Yates revealed, “Daniel has appeared nude in the past. There are a couple of scenes in the new film in which he will undress but we’re still thinking about how we present it.”
The scene occurs when Harry’s best friend and Hermione’s love interest Ron Weasley, played by Rupert Grint, is battling a monster which tries to defend itself by flashing a series of images where Harry and Hermione are kissing and embracing.”
Daniel will then expose himself in a later scene following a brush with death. The director added, “There is another scene in Kings Cross station, where Harry almost dies and sees Dumbledore. In that scene he will also be naked.”

First Look: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Warner Bros, Adaptation, Adventure, Drama, Family, Science Fiction, Sequels, Upcoming Releases,
Anyone else eager to talk about wizards again?
Although we’ll have to endure another dose of Twilight mania in just a few more months, there is another adaptation to look forward to next year: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
In this picture from Part 1 the two-part finale, the trio are seen in streetwear outside of Hogwarts Castle. “They’re paranoid,” Rupert Grint (Ron) explained about their feelings in the Muggle world. “It’s quite a scary world because the Snatchers and Death Eaters are running around everywhere. Harry, Ron and Hermione are just camping out in random places, living rough, in regular clothes.” (Heaven forbid, not regular clothes!)
You can see for yourself how Harry manages to survive in jeans when Deathly Hallows: Part I opens on November 19.
