Admittedly, this is a very painful clip to watch. (It’s riddled with awkward pauses.) Having said that - it’s still a noteworthy event for film lovers. For the first time ever, and Robert De Niro have given a joint TV interview. Unfortunately for Brian Williams, he was the one given the responsibility of conducting it.

Although this is the third project they’ve both been in together (The Godfather: Part II and Heat being the others), this is the first time they’ve shared a good portion of the scenes.

After watching the interview, ask yourself: “Could James Lipton - or anyone -  have handled this better?”
